Our Staff
Nanci Miller- Trainer

With more than 20 years of training, Nanci is Splashdown’s owner and trainer. A self-journey that began with training her dogs developed into assisting others in meeting goals with their own dogs.
As an educator for more than 30 years, Nanci brings an ability to break down skills and knowledge not just for dogs, but for humans. That allows both to achieve at the highest levels.
Certified as a North American Diving Dogs (NADD) judge, an American Kennel Club (AKC) evaluator, and an Updog judge, Nanci teaches classes in distance diving, air retrieve, hydrodash, scent work, foundation agility, rally obedience, tricks, as well as general dog skills such as AKC S.T.A.R. puppy and Canine Good Citizen.
Nanci currently competes with Tucker, an Australian Shepherd, in dock diving, agility scent work, rally, lure coursing, and disc. The newest family member, Bo, was adopted in January 2021 and competes in disc, lure coursing, and agility.

Rich Miller- Buildings and Grounds
Rich brings more than 30 years of experience in buildings and grounds maintenance, and more than 25 years of dealing with Nanci.
Splashdown Dog Sports could not exist without Rich’s experience, knowledge, and hard work. You will find him all around the grounds doing a wide variety of tasks.
Rich enjoys competing in disc with his Border Collie, Bo, and running Tucker, an Australian Shepherd, in all of the dock games.
Vickie Anderson- Administration
With more than 30 years in education, Vickie brings a lot to Splashdown as she welcomes all to our events. Her knowledge and willingness to learn is always appreciated.
Vickie is often at the admin table when you arrive as she tackles many tasks.
She also enjoys running her Australian Shepherds, Auggie and Rose, in agility, disc, scent work, lure coursing, rally, and is beginning to train in dock diving.

Jeff Anderson- Administration
Jeff’s experiences in industry as a trainer have added a great deal to the offerings at Splashown Dog Sports.
Jeff can be found doing anything asked of him, from timing for lure coursing events to setting up toys for hydrodash and air retrieve. His sense of humor and reminders that we are here for enjoyment are always greatly appreciated.
He enjoys learning about all dog sports and currently runs Auggie, an Australian Shepherd, in disc and is also beginning training in dock diving.
PJ Harmer- Marketing and Technology
You can often find P.J. at our events behind a screen – whether a computer or camera.

With more than 25 years of experience in journalism and public relations, he has helped lead the charge on all marketing and technology at Splashdown.
P.J. joined the team after welcoming his golden retriever Harper to his family. He has enjoyed learning about all things dog, and plans to compete with Harper in dock diving, disc, and whatever they decide to learn about along the way.
